Dr Li Wang

Dr Li Wang has just moved from New Zealand to Geelong. He has been working as a doctor for 12 years.

After completing his Master degree in Medical Science from the University of Beijing, he acquired a PhD degree in Pathology from the University of Auckland. He then worked at public hospitals in New Zealand for 6 years, including 2 years of working as an Obstetrics & Gynaecology registrar.

Dr Li has been working as a GP/Urgent care physician since 2019. He loves the opportunity to gain knowledge of different medical disciplines, and applying such knowledge to care for his patient in a holistic way. He enjoys building long-term relationships with his patients. The greatest satisfaction comes from helping them to screen and identify health conditions so that early prevention or treatment of serious illness is possible.

Outside work Li mostly spends time with his 2 lovely kids. He also enjoys reading, tramping, swimming, eating out and playing basketball.
